Merchant terms
The terms your business agrees to when you sell through Dropr.
Placeholder text. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not yet binding on anyone. They exist so the links in the apps resolve while the real wording is prepared.
Your agreement with us
These terms apply to your business and to every branch you operate on Dropr. The person who accepts them confirms they are authorised to bind the business.
You sell directly to the customer. We provide the platform, take the payment, and arrange the delivery.
Your listing
You are responsible for the accuracy of your catalogue โ prices, descriptions, photographs, allergens and any age restriction. Keep it current.
Mark an item unavailable rather than leaving a customer to discover it is out of stock. Where your vertical allows substitutions, say which ones are acceptable.
Set your opening hours honestly, and pause the store rather than leaving orders to time out when you cannot cook or pick.
Handling orders
Accept or decline an incoming order promptly, and give a realistic preparation time. A driver is dispatched against the time you give.
Have the order ready, packaged and labelled when the driver arrives. Food must be packaged so it survives the journey; medicine and age-restricted items must be sealed and marked.
Repeatedly rejecting orders, or being unready when drivers arrive, may lead us to pause your listing.
Commission, payouts and taxes
We charge commission on each order at the rate in your commercial agreement. It is deducted before payout.
Payouts run on a regular cycle to the bank account on your profile, with a statement showing each order, the commission and any adjustment.
You are responsible for charging and remitting the taxes your business owes, and for issuing any invoice your customers are entitled to.
Refunds and complaints
Where an order is wrong, missing items, or not fit to be sold, we may refund the customer and charge the cost back to you.
We will tell you what the complaint was. If you disagree, raise it with us and we will look at the evidence from both sides.
Compliance
Hold the licences your business needs โ food hygiene, pharmacy, alcohol, or any other your goods require โ and give them to us when we ask.
Tell us promptly about a product recall or a safety notice affecting anything you have sold through us.
Changes to these terms
We publish a new version rather than editing an existing one, so the text you agreed to stays readable. Each version carries a label and the date it took effect.
Where a change is substantive we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the service. Where it corrects a typographical error, your earlier acceptance stands.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, and the courts of Cameroon have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Where we operate in another market, the local law of that market applies to the extent it gives you stronger protection.
